I must highly recommend camping to anyone who hasn't tried it yet. I always learn something new about myself, my loved ones, and the landscape in which we live.
For example, last camping trip, I discovered that:
1) I don't mind camping in the rain.
2) Hot showers are absolutely the bomb.
3) I like to laze around at knit at the campsite.

Meet
Gail. She's
Malabrigo Silky, in colorway Archangel. This slightly smaller version (well, less repeats anyways) used about 2.5 skeins.
I also made some felted mittens. They're not quite done yet, but here's the progress:

They're also
Malabrigo Silky, in colorway Madre Perla. Each mitten took exactly 1 skein of yarn doubled, and I had to crack open the 3rd skein for thumbs and the interior knitted cuff (these are the Double Cuff Mittens from
Knit One, Felt Too).
